Dixie Rapuano is a native of Alabama and graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in nutrition. She has resided in the Arlington/Falls Church area of Northern Virginia for over 25 years raising four children and is married to Ken, a retired USMC Lt. Colonel and the mother of a Lieutenant in U.S. Army. Dixie has been actively involved with PTA/PTO, church and civic association activities.
Licensed in 2008 Dixie quickly gained recognition from the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors for her sales excellence by becoming a member of the Top Producers and Million Dollar Sales Clubs. Dixie believes her background as a nutrition consultant, where she honed her listening skills, has positioned her well to serve her real estate clients. Dixie says: “Listening to the clients outline their requirements and desires and understanding those wants and needs is of paramount importance in serving them well. I want to be their advocate. I strive to successfully negotiate their sale and help them along the path to a successful closing. Client satisfaction is of upmost importance to me.”
Dixie believes that in our large Washington DC metro Marketplace it is really about prioritizing those wants and needs for a good fit and that it becomes a process of elimination. Dixie says: “By listening carefully I can almost see a property through my client’s eyes and that helps me match them up with a home. Throughout this process communication is key. We work as a team and it becomes a collaborative effort. I am in constant contact to ensure my clients always feel connected and part of the process. To me it’s more than just a transaction, it’s about helping my clients find a home….one that they can enjoy for many years to come.”
