About Me
Born and raised on Oahu, I spent 9 years as a fire fighter with the Department of Defense and the Honolulu Fire Department, with an additional 20 years on Maui, retiring as an Assistant Fire Chief. I have a BA degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii – West Oahu and a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer program. My background consists of fire fighting, fire prevention, fire codes and fire investigations. I still serve on the Board with the Hawaii Fire Chiefs Association.
