As a Western North Carolina native, Symantha earned her college degree as an educator surrounded by the mountains she loves, at the University of North Carolina – Asheville. A concentration in Appalachian studies deepened her appreciation of the region’s rich and colorful history. The first years of her professional life were devoted to teaching in Henderson County schools.
This experience was a natural segue to the real estate profession. In 2007, she acquired her NC broker’s license to start on a path that would allow her to apply her natural teaching abilities, sharing a depth of knowledge and genuine exuberance about the region with others. The satisfaction she derived from helping clients learn about and successfully navigate, the many moving parts that constitute buying or selling a home fueled the next step in her professional life.
Becoming Broker/ Owner of RE/MAX Four Seasons in 2016 is where Symantha truly found her niche. Managing this real estate brokerage and mentoring aspiring and established agents alike, has proven to be her most fulfilling professional role. Cultivating a strong sense of entrepreneurship and professionalism among her team of agents and seeing their businesses flourish is what drives her.
