It's safe to say that clients prefer to work with an agent that they trust.
I am a licensed member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, the New York State Board of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors since 2001. I started working part-time in Real Estate while working for the Department of Education as a New York Public School teacher of English in Brooklyn, and then on Staten Island. I began working full time in the sale of Real Estate in 2006. During my 19 year tenure, I have sold numerous properties both on Staten Island and in Brooklyn. My specialty is with First Time Buyers, Estate sales and Seniors who are selling, relocating, and downsizing. As an active Real Estate agent I Chaired and Co-chaired several committees, helped initiate The Roundtable Committee from its inception and for several years thereafter. From 2008-2011, I served as a Director on the Board of Directors at SIBOR, and in 2013 earned one of its most prestigious awards, "Realtor of the Year." This award is given to a select few who have not only served in the capacity of Realtor, but as one who has served the Staten Island Community. I have volunteered in many community activities, teaching CCD, serving on the Board of Directors for my Condo Association, organized summer activities for the children living in the community and volunteered on a campaign to help elect a Federal Judge. In addition, while working part time as an Adviser at the College of Staten Island, I coordinated workshops and talks for adults who were Evening and Weekend students returning to college.
