Saving Pets Lives One Closing At A Time!

I was born and raised in the TampaBay Area. I have spent my entire life in the Pasco and Hernando counties. I began my experience in the real estate industry, personally, at 18 years old. At that time I purchased my first home. From there a couple years later I built my first house and started renting my previous house. I did this for a couple years while attending college, working as a bar tender, and being a mom of two. While working I had a customer approach me about getting licensed as a Mortgage Broker because he thought I had the personality to do well in the business. I did some research and off I went. I got licensed and started working as a loan officer and loan processor...all while the market was on fire. Right before the down turn I sold both the houses I owned. Luckily, I got out just in time.
In between that time and now I got my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing from Saint Leo University.
Once the market started to improve I started to buy houses again. Shortly after buying and selling a few places I decided that I needed to get my license as a Realtor. In 2014 I became licensed and started working with a broker in Hernando County. During my year and a half with that broker I was Listing Agent of the month for total volume for March 2016, Listing Agent of the Month for total units and dollar volume for May 2015, and Listing Agent of the month for total units in August 2015. I'm excited to say I recently moved my license to work under Re/Max Marketing Specialists. Primarily servicing Hernando and Pasco county.
My husband and I try to play an active role in the community as well. I have been a member and former Executive Board member of the Historic Brooksville Woman's Club since 2010. In addition we have always been big supporters of the local Humane Society of the Nature Coast. I came to a point where I thought how can I help the local animal shelters and rescue organizations get more money, adopters, and supporters even though I may not have the time to put in there? That's when I decided I would donate 5% of my earned commission to my buyer's or seller's shelter of choice. This way pets, buyers, sellers and myself are all helping support one another.
