"Someday is Today"
Diana Setaro is a familiar name in Brunswick County. Formerly employed as a Social Worker and a supervisor with Child Protective Services for over 23 years, she has always worked to help people in the community. Following her dream of pursuing a career in real estate allows her to now help people in a different way. “My mother-in-law was a very successful agent locally and was my inspiration. She loved her career and was always very encouraging.”
As a long-time resident of Oak Island, Diana is a firm believer in the quality of life the area offers. “Making the move from Southern California to North Carolina was a great decision. This area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It’s a charming, caring and giving community with clean air, beautiful beaches and most importantly, great people.”
Diana’s familiarity with Oak Island ,Southport, and Brunswick County is a great benefit to her clients. She has followed the real estate market for years and understands the pros and cons of buying in a specific area based on what the buyer finds most important. “I am tenacious in making sure my clients are satisfied. I know the perfect fit is out there and am determined to help them find the right home in the right location with the right amenities within their budget. When I am working with sellers, helping them move to the next phase of their life by selling their house as quickly as possible is also gratifying.”
Since joining RE/MAX Southern Coast, Diana feels reassured that she made the right decision. “I enjoy working with the team we have here. The company is innovative in its approach to marketing properties and working with buyers while the team members are hard-working, dedicated and responsive.”
Serving on the Board of Directors for Samara’s Village, a non-profit that works with pregnant and parenting teens, is another way that Diana gives back to the community she loves. “I guess helping people is just in my DNA.” She also enjoys biking to the beach, live music and travel although spending time with her family remains at the top of her list.
