You might call Scott Dean of ABQ Home Search, RE/MAX SELECT a purist. Whether he’s selling homes or backpacking in the mountains, Scott is all there—focused, present, and absolute. For 27 years, he’s been a full-time REALTOR® in Albuquerque, with an uncompromising commitment to every transaction and client. Despite not being a salesperson, Scott discovered he’s a fantastic advisor—the perfect personality for guiding people through the real estate process.
He’s helped hundreds of buyers and sellers realize their unique home dream. With his market knowledge and experience, Scott provides his clients all the necessary information and support to make the right decision for their lifestyle. As an expert advisor, his measure of success is finding the right home for the client, regardless of price. Scott likes his real estate role helping people, but he also appreciates the opportunity to turn that off—unplug and recharge in his own space, on his own time.
Real estate allows Scott to feed both parts of himself—the driven Qualifying Broker and 2019 REALTOR® of the Year who loves meeting his clients’ goals of buying or selling, and the nature-loving adventurer who thrives off the grid. An avid outdoorsman, Scott spends his time away from work mountain biking, hiking, camping, backpacking, trail running, and rafting.
When Scott is in broker-mode, he’s all-in, focused on best serving his clients. A dedicated volunteer, Scott has served many realty organizations over the last 25 years; everything from former president of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® and the Southwest Multiple Listing Service, to a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Strategic Planning Committee and Chair of the Forms Committee for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®. In addition to fueling a desire to give back to the industry, he recognizes the opportunity to learn and gain valuable knowledge, enabling him to give more to his clients and provide a better experience.
