About Me
My name is Richard Gillespie, but everyone refers to me as Richie. I was born in Rochester, NY and now live in beautiful, historic Seneca Falls. From a young age, my family and I moved all around the Southern Tiers and Finger Lakes area of upstate New York before settling roots here. What I love most about this area are all the wonderful communities in the surrounding areas that have helped shape me and make me proud to call myself an upstate New Yorker.
I am the proud father of one beautiful little girl, Phoebe (5). My mother is a hard-working Laotian American; she immigrated to Endicott, NY in 1979. I also have two wonderful siblings, Philip and Sienna, who both attend local schools. My hobbies (besides selling real estate) are spending time with my daughter and family, doing anything to do with the outdoors, and working out.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the mini-metropolis of Ithaca, NY, and graduated from Ithaca High School in 2012. I received my Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College in 2016. Since high school, among other things I’ve done, I have served our community as a waiter, bartender, and fitness trainer, and I’ve even scooped an ice cream cone or two. I love and take pride in living here and fully enjoy all the beauty and attractions of the Finger Lakes area.
I started my career in real estate at ReMax Plus in Rochester before coming to The Young Agency and coming full circle back with REMAX REVOLUTION. What I find most rewarding about this field is working with everyday people to find their perfect home. I can proudly say that I have excellent knowledge of the stunning Finger lakes area.
