We Fix It & We List It (offer listing preparations for our clients to get top dollar) We also help our home buyers find their TLC home and fix it up to make it their dream home! That's why our clients LOVE US! We update homes while creating endless memories!
We are a husband/wife team with 39 years combined experience in real estate, renovations and home building. My husband Jim has built two custom homes for our family in the last 6 years. One is a 3,100 sq ft colonial and the other is a 2,400 sq ft ranch with a full walkout. Fixing and building things has always been a passion for him since childhood. He bought his first home in Irondequoit at 19. He could not wait to gut it so he could make it his own. Of course, the profit when he sold it was certainly a bonus. Jim went out on his own and opened his company, Modern Renovations in 2009 where he offers services from small projects, additions, remodels and everything in between.
I am the other half, Rebecca. I have been assisting real estate agents for 20 years. I started my career at a large local brokerage as their corporate trainer in 2000 while also providing technology training to REALTORS® at GRAR (The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors). In 2006, I started my own business, the Virtual Real Estate Shop. I developed a complete management system to organize REALTORS® businesses. While I sold it in 2017, VRES still manages over 300 local realtors assisting them with professional photography, listing and contract management and overall customer organization. I am an organizational nut and an entrepreneur at heart!
100% of our focus has always been on helping our clients in real estate. Customer service is what we have prided ourselves on which has made us a perfect team both professionally in our businesses and in our personal lives. Our closest friends and family often ask us what took us so long to join forces. We are super excited that we did and look forward for the opportunity to work with you.
