About Me
Phyllis and John Adam have 70+ years of combined real estate experience, residing in Carroll County, MD and are associated with RE/MAX Advantage Realty as the Phyllis and John Adam Team. Phyllis has received her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative); GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute); CRS (Certified Real Estate Specialist); PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisory) and the CDPE certification (Certified Distressed Property Expert). They both are life members of the Million Dollar Real Estate Professionals and members of the Carroll County REALTORS®, Maryland REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Phyllis has three adult children and four grandchildren. She received her A.A. Degree from Villa Julie College, now known as Stevenson University as a Business/Legal Secretarial major in 1976 and worked for a local law firm. She entered the real estate profession in 1988 and has been active ever since. She discovered her passion for volunteering early on in her career; first with the Million Dollar Real Estate Professionals and then with the local board association, Carroll County REALTORS. Phyllis was Carroll County REALTORS® 2017 - 2018 President and continues to serve as on CCR Board. She has received the most prestigious and honorable award in 2019 as CCR’s REALTOR® of the Year. Phyllis & John continue to participate with local fundraising activities for Homes for Heroes and Wounded Warrior Project and the Boys & Girls Club. John is the father of two adult children and eleven grandchildren. He was licensed in 1984. After retiring from his full-time job in 2012, John became a full-time REALTOR® and took a more active role with the Phyllis & John Adam Team of RE/MAX Advantage Realty. We are enormously proud and honored to help our military families sell their homes and purchase new homes here in our local market.
