About Me
Kristel Acre, has over 26 years of real estate experience beginning with Boulder based new home builder/developer McStain Neighborhoods. “I love selling new homes,” Acre commented, “and because I am familiar with the unique new home building and buying processes, I can really be an advocate for my clients.” A Colorado native (Lakewood) Acre has resided in Weld County since 1991 after studying finance and international business at Arizona State University. Kristel loves cooking/baking, gardening, volunteering, singing, hiking, 4-wheeling and traveling. Active in the Fort Lupton community, Acre was President of the Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce in 2014, was involved with establishing the Family Resource Center of South Weld County, and has served on several of the City’s Committees. One of Kristel’s passion projects is her membership in P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization) which raises money for women’s college scholarships on the local, state, national and international level. “This philanthropy and sisterhood is near and dear to my heart since education is the key to all success,” says Acre. Being a Realtor suits Acre well. “I love helping my clients find their next 'forever' home! Plus, I thrive on finding creative solutions to the various speed bumps or problems that can crop up” she comments. Her biggest honor to date was being named Best Realtor of South Weld County by the public in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. (The award has since been discontinued.) “This honor means so much to me. It means I am serving my clients well since they are the ones voting.” Kristel’s motto is “Home Is Where Your Heart Lives” as she knows that a home is much more than a house and she strives to help all of her clients find their next home to love as well as have some fun along the way.
