About Me
Jeff Gontarek is a Minnesota Native, living in Otter Tail County since 1975. He was raised on a resort on Big Pelican Lake, and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School. He attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was employed with Otter Tail County Probation for 23 years.
As an avid advocate of outdoors and wildlife, the opportunities to enjoy nature is endless in Otter Tail County. With over one thousand lakes, two Minnesota State Parks, multi-city bike trails, and groomed snowmobile trails, there always is an outdoor adventure in Otter Tail County. He has a strong presence in the communities he serves. He is a current Head Coach for the Heart O Lakes Fishing League, Youth Baseball Coach for the City of Fergus Falls, and is a local Firearm Safety Instructor.
Jeff sold his first home, For Sale By Owner, in 2001. He joined Re/Max Signature Properties in Fergus Falls, MN, in May of 2016 and is a full time Realtor. He has a strong foundation in ethics and communication which certainly aid in his skills as a Realtor. Jeff believes each Real Estate Transaction is unique and deserves to be treated with it’s own identity. He prides himself on building strong relationships with buyers and/or sellers, and tailoring each sale to their needs. Savvy negotiations, strong communication, and a keen eye to detail join uncompromising integrity as the hallmarks of Jeff's service. He has had the privilege of facilitating sales ranging from lake homes to vacant lots in multiple counties in Minnesota and North Dakota.
