I am originally from Georgia. I grew up in a small town and lived the life of a typical kid in the south. Following in my father and older brothers' footsteps, I got my College Degree at The University of Georgia with a B.S. in Geology. I quickly realized digging holes and working on oil rigs was not for me. An opportunity to manage an outdoor shop for a friend who wanted to take an extended vacation turned into a 4 year adventure that gave me the opportunity to lead backpacking trips on the Appalachian Trail and explore Western NC. The seed was planted and I spent the next 12 years in a corporate job dreaming of living in the mountains. After looking around the area, I quickly realized that I preferred the slower pace in Henderson County to the faster pace of Asheville. Our family relocated here and both of my daughters entered and completed school in Henderson County and are graduated/attending UNC schools. In 2001, I was able to arrange a job transfer to the Asheville Area. In 2011(the bottom of the crash), I resigned from my corporate job and became a Realtor. Mountain biking was one of passions for years and I have been an active volunteer doing trailwork in the Pisgah National Forest. Canoeing has now become my favorite sport. I paddle and fish the French Broad River and local lakes and have plans to do some extended downriver trips in the near future. Our family has horses, dogs, and cats and we constantly remind ourselves to slow down and look around at the beauty that surrounds us. My goal as a Realtor is to represent and protect the interests of my Clients. I will always be honest with you, even when it's not what you want to hear. I know that my business is built upon the referrals from my Clients and friends. Give me call and let's set up a time to help you find your dream home!
