Although I always appreciated the small things growing up, I had the belief that only wealthy people purchased homes. My family was far from it. There was still this yearning desire to have a home of my own where I could decorate it as I wished and could gather my friends and family together to become the gracious host that I always wanted to be. It wasn't until I met with a real estate agent and learned that I could indeed purchase my very first home, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought! You do not need 20% down in order to purchase a home. There are grants available and different types of loans that require 0%-3.5% down! Five years later, after upgrading to a new property, I obtained my real estate license so that I could help make this same dream a reality for others. Let me show you how!
