Who Is Burton Leitzell?
I was born and raised in Sacramento. I graduated from one of the local high schools, Luther Burbank HS, in 1979. I have worked and lived in the Sacramento and surrounding areas my whole life. I can truly say “I know the area”.
I spent over 27 years in the lumber and construction industry. I started out sweeping the floors of a local lumber company at age 15 and working my way up to General Manager of Star Crest Lumber. From 1981-2008, we worked hand in hand with one of Sacramento Valley’s largest home builders. Again I can truly say “I know residential housing”.
I have had my own personal real estate transactions from buying and selling homes to buying and selling bare land. So in 2009 I decided to become a real estate agent to help my friends and family with their real estate needs. I have earned the honors of Sacramento Associate of Realtors Master Club designation in both 2012 and 2013. That places me it the top 10% of agents in our area. So again, I can truly say “I know the real estate market”.
It is with that experience, and my affiliation with RE/MAX Gold, that I find myself uniquely qualified to help any buyer, or seller, with navigating the real estate market to best achieve their real estate needs. And now I can truly say “I am the agent you need”
On a more personal note this is who I am.
My wife and I have been together for over 30 years. We have been married for 27 of them. We have raised two fine young men. Our oldest is currently serving in the US Air Force and our youngest is attending junior college here in Sacramento. If you don’t find me sitting at my desk, you will find me at one of our local golf courses or on our local waterways fishing. You may also catch my playing softball with the Golden Seniors Softball or, on one of oldest passions, riding my Harley around on the back roads of California. I can truly say “I know how to have fun too”.
