About Me
When I purchased my first home, the experience was horrible and I remember never wanting anyone to feel like I did going through the process. However, being able to reach my goal at the end was exhilarating! By the time I purchased my second home, I learned to advocate for myself where my agent fell short in negotiating on my behalf. It was my agent who encouraged me to get a real estate license because she thought that she learned alot from me as a new agent, and she felt that I could help advocate for others. So, after a lengthy career in the legal and political arena, and "coaching my friends on how to buy a home", I changed careers and began building relationships in real estate. That was over 21 years ago, and today I am still providing value to my clients before, during and after a transaction.
My prior experience in the legal arena in both the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas has provided me with not only the professionalism necessary to provide the best service possible to my clients, but also an opportunity to develop strong relationships, and to demonstrate the level of dedication, trust, commitment, loyalty and expertise that are essential in my dealings with my clients.
As a Realtor, I learned to accommodate needs based family, income, schools, culture, lifestyle, location and investment opportunity. As a resident of Anne Arundel County for over 22 years, I have been exposed to the lifestyles common to military families, international relocations, employment relocations, and long-time residents of the County. In listing and selling homes in several counties throughout Maryland, I gained tremendous insight regarding the importance of diversity and inclusion in the housing market. For several years, I have been a part of the Maryland Housing Opportunity Committee. In sum, I love what I do and look forward to helping you! I am "Where Home Begins".
