About Me
I grew up on a farm in SE Kansas where I learned the value of taking pride in hard, honest work. After my husband & I graduated from college, we lived in Missouri, Montana, & back to Kansas. In 2004, my husband took the veterinary position with Cactus Feeders and we re-located to Amarillo, TX. We have raised our 3 children, Alex, Andy, & Jacob here and have discovered Amarillo to be a wonderful place to live & grow a family. The Panhandle sunsets and warm people have found a special place in our hearts. Economically, the Amarillo/Canyon area is also a great place to grow a business and live. When our children started leaving the nest, I decided to pursue my interest in real estate, first by purchasing some modest rentals, then by earning my real estate agent license. This has enabled me to combine all my moving experiences, my interest in the real estate market, and my desire to help people, into a career that I love. In 2012, I earned my real estate license, and in 2013 was Coldwell Banker First Equity's Rookie of the Year. In the next 6 years, I sold over $22 million in homes with over 225 transactions. `In 2019, I earned my brokers license and in 2020, joined with an innovative franchise called RE/MAX - the #1 recognized real estate company name in the world. I am excited & delighted to say RE/MAX PRO is open & ready to PRO-vide excellent real estate service to those buying & selling in the Panhandle.
