About Me
Carl & Cheri Knottnerus are consultants at RE/MAX Prestige, specializing in residential sales, foreclosures, relocation real estate, vacant land, and New Construction in Palm Beach County. They have lived in the western communities for over 36 years, know the area very well, and pride themselves in being real estate experts.
Carl earned a Bachelor’s Degree in management from the University of Montana and had 20+ years of management experience in the beverage industry before joining RE/MAX and his wife, Cheri, in 1999 to pursue a real estate career.
Cheri is originally from Indiana and moved to Florida in 1977, graduated with an Associates degree, received her real estate license in 1990 and has been selling in the Western Communities and most of Palm Beach County ever since.
Recipients of numerous real estate honors & awards including RE/MAX’s 100% Club, Platinum Club, RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame (over $1,000,000 in gross commissions), and the REMAX LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (over $3 million in gross commissions), they are affiliates of the Realtor Association of the Palm Beaches, Regional MLS, the National Association of Realtors, RE/MAX of Florida & RE/MAX Int'l, and they hold the following designations: GRI - Graduate of Realtor Institute, CDPE -Certified Distressed Property Expert, and IRES-International Real Estate Specialist.
They are active members of Palms West Presbyterian Church. Carl is a member of the session, choir, and sings tenor with the Southern Cross Gospel Quartet. They also stay involved with their 2 sons and their families. Kyle graduated Royal Palm Beach High and UCF, and is now a firefighter for Palm Beach County. He lives in Jupiter with his wife and their son. Jarrett, their youngest, graduated from Seminole Ridge H.S. and UCF where he earned a Mechanical Engineering degree. He is now an Engineer, and he, his wife, and daughter reside in Lake Park.
