James Schwartz, Vice President, Marketing and Media Strategies

James Schwartz leads the digital marketing, media, brand marketing and creative services departments for RE/MAX, LLC, in a role that perfectly melds his original thinking with his strategic perspective.

James joined REMAX in July 2011 as a Business Coach for the former RE/MAX Central Atlantic Region and RE/MAX California & Hawaii Region. For more than two years, he worked closely with the regions’ franchise owners and real estate agents to grow their businesses and position their brokerages for success. In 2016, he rejoined RE/MAX, LLC as Director of Marketing to drive innovative digital marketing and media strategies for both RE/MAX and Motto Mortgage, a brand he helped launch. In 2018, he played a key role in the acquisition of booj. James was promoted to his current role as Vice President, Marketing and Media Strategies in January 2019.

A Denver native and graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, James is an entrepreneur and business strategist who stays two steps ahead of competitors in the always-changing digital landscape. Over the course of his 20-year career, he’s perfected the science of connecting with specific audiences to build brand loyalty and consumer awareness. His passion for real estate began in earnest as he developed digital marketing plans and lead generation ecosystems for a top 10 U.S. homebuilder. Prior to joining RE/MAX, James served as vice president of digital and communications for three national health and wellness brands.

James is happiest discussing real estate, renovating properties, collaborating with RE/MAX Affiliates, exploring design, traveling the country, snowboarding in the Colorado mountains, and spending time with his family and friends. Each morning, James challenges himself to be better than the day before.
