It was Sara's wish that the house "would stand forever as a monument to the fine old traditions that are so important to our heritage." Today, visitors can tour a fully restored estate, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Western Monroe Historical Society.Boaters and visitors can access valuable information and resources from the new Welcome Center, part of Brockport's Canalfront Hospitality Program. The center, located just off Main Street, boasts a 100% volunteer staff. The Welcome Center also has a fleet of bikes to choose from.
