Peru is a town just south of Plattsburgh in Clinton County, NY. It is situated between the Adirondack Mountain and beautiful Lake Champlain. There are several businesses, churches, schools, apple orchards, dairy farms, farm stands and expanding industries throughout the township. According to the 2010 census, the current population is around 6,998. As a prior high school student here, I am proud to be part of the community.
  • Rulfs Orchard has been in the North Country since 1952 when Bob Rulfs moved here from Westchester County, NY where he sold apples from a wagon. His roadside stand has grown to include not only apples but all sorts of vegetables, fruits, flowers, bakery and more.

In the summer you can pick your own strawberries at their Strawberry Fest where they sell nearly 3000 pounds of strawberries in a week. That’s a lot of strawberries!

Prepare for the perfect Halloween by picking your own pumpkins. A tractor drawn wagon will deliver you right to the pumpkin patch and wait for while you find your perfect pumpkin.

A corn maize is the latest addition to Rulf’s Orchard. It is packed with fun to include a bonfire, s’mores and more. You won’t want to miss this treat!
