The Elmwood Village area of Buffalo has grown to become one of the most desirable areas of Western New York. Its architecturally rich houses boast the areas finest examples of turn-of-the-century craftsmanship. Tree lined streets create the foreground for prime examples of Victorian, Colonial, Queen Anne, and Tudor style houses, and even a few Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces.
The area is full of boutique shops, hip restaurants, art galleries, and pubs. Flanked by an Olmstead parks system that hosts theater and concert events, as well as a local farmer's market, demand for housing in this area has become strong. It is one of the most walkable areas of the city, and if you'd like to cover more distance the north and south roads feature bike lanes.
