Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to introduce myself and give you some insight about my journey. My name is Ali Abree, and when I came to the United States at the age of 21 years old, I had a goal to one day live the American Dream. Although I am now a successful real estate agent, I have never forgotten where I came from. I will never forget hiding in the basement of my home in Iran, praying that Iraqi missiles would miss my home; or hearing about those lost in the war. Having experienced this hardship, I have a deep appreciation for the freedom and opportunity that America offers to so many people. I have a deep appreciation for what I have achieved in my life, and I strive daily to help others achieve their dream.
I began working at a carwash, speaking little to no English. I worked hard upwards of 90 hours a week, just to survive. My strong work ethic served me well, and I quickly moved up to a management position. I met my wife Christine while working at the car wash, and throughout the years, she has been next to me as my strongest support while I strive to reach my vision. She has been with me through the difficult times, and we now enjoy our success together.
2002 proved to be a turning point in my life. I had been promoted to management in my job, but the gas station held little room for advancement. I had big dreams for my future, and I wanted so much more in life. Choosing a career in Real Estate seemed to be the answer and it has turned out to be the perfect fit. It offered me flexibility and afforded me the opportunity to help others achieve their dreams. The people that had helped me were essential to my success, and I wanted a job where I could help others. This was my opportunity to help others achieve their own success and my main goal was to “pay it forward”.
Although it may sound cliché, I truly believe that my clients are family, and I am well aware that people need a trusted adviser when making the largest purchase of their lifetime. I treat those who are making a $150,000 purchase, the same as those who are making a $1.5 million dollar purchase. The advice I give is never random, never for the sake of just making money for myself. Case in point, 2007: The market is falling, I advised my clients to stay OUT of the market, of course it was a financial loss for me, however overall it was more important that my clients make the right financial decisions. Building relationships is my number #1 priority.
Through honest hard work, my business has seen amazing growth. When I joined Remax in 2003, I realized the impact I could make, and with the backing of a strong company like Remax, the sky was the limit. Now I have a full-time assistant and am in the process of forming a team, which will allow me to organize and manage more business and ultimately better serve my clients. As my business grows, I try to remain humble and never take my success for granted. I believe strongly in karma, which is my guiding light in helping others because I know it will come back to me. I give generously to the Children’s Miracle Network and encourage other agents to also contribute, as I hold this charity, in particular, close to my heart.
You can feel secure that when working with me, you truly are working with an expert in the business. I am a member of the 100% Club, The Platinum Club, The Chairman’s Club, and the Re/Max Hall of Fame. I am experienced in all facets of the business: short sales, move-ups, distressed clients, investment properties, commercial, and down-sizing clients.
I understand that buying a home is the single largest purchase in your lifetime. I want you go into this process with all the knowledge and security that you deserve. After all, owning your own home is the American Dream so “Dream with your Eyes Open.”
