The privilege of playing and living in Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley is a year-round pleasure that few of us take for granted. With every visit and each day spent in this special place, comes a greater appreciation of all the qualities, amenities, and opportunities that Steamboat has to offer. Great efforts have been made to preserve its unpretentious small town, western, and ranching heritage, yet at the same time be recognized as a world-class ski resort.

Steamboat is off the beaten path but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The outdoor lifestyle and slower pace that Steamboat offers is a draw for many. The recreational opportunities are abundant and too numerous to mention whether it be spring, summer, fall, or winter. The Winter Carnival, Cowboy Downhill, the iconic Fourth of July parade, the Hot Air Balloon Rodeo, and the first Friday Art Stroll are just a few events that make Steamboat so special…and let’s not forget the incredible Champagne Powder™ skiing.

BIO:

In l994, Steve and his family moved to Steamboat for its slower pace and small town lifestyle. While enjoying family time with his wife and their married daughters and families, Steve also enjoys activities such as travel, hiking, hunting, fishing, golf, horseshoes, and motorcycle riding. Steve’s only complaint is that with all the amazing activities that Steamboat has to offer, there aren’t enough hours in the day.

Steve initially joined the Prudential Trimontane Real Estate office and was in the top 4% in sales for all U.S. Prudential sales associates in 1998 and 1999. At about the same time a Vail real estate development company offered him the opportunity to be part of their sales team for their new Catamount Ranch and Club development in Steamboat Springs, and he remained with the project until it was approximately 80% sold-out. At that point, Steve made the decision to return to general real estate sales. In 2014, he was very pleased to join the top-notch sales team at RE/MAX Partners.

With over 38 years in the real estate industry and 21 years in Steamboat, Steve feels his experience and knowledge in marketing, sales, managing, home inspection, and property management have made him a well-rounded real estate professional with outstanding customer rapport and respect. He is greatly pleased that a large portion of his business is from referrals and returning clients. Steve believes that says a lot about him as a Realtor. He has received numerous sales awards over the years.
