Alicia was born and raised in Southern Maryland. Where her family was instrumental in opening the St.Clements Island Potomac River Museum in Colton's Point. She grew up in a political family and her father was a St. Mary's County Commissioner. She knew the former Governor of Maryland Marvin Mandel and his lovely wife Jean (who was her first mentor). Her great grand parents owned one of the first car dealerships in the state and her family still own much the original businesses they founded so long ago. She cares deeply about Maryland, preserving the past in as many ways as possible and improvements for the future. She moved to Anne Arundel County more than 20 years ago where she raised two children, was a volunteer in their classrooms, was an active member of the PTA and is a member of the woman of the Moose. In her spare time she loves to cook and often throws impromptu dinner parties, she is a very creative person and can often be found in her workshop repairing and refinishing or painting vintage furniture.
