Destined to sell "houses" with a name like this!
Checking out homes has always intrigued me, so changing that interest into a career could not have been better.
Although I first felt that real estate was polar opposite of my career history, I have realized that many of the qualities and skills mastered throughout the years do help me as a trusted and respected real estate agent.
I earned a baccalaureate degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota. I practiced hygiene in private practice for more than twenty years while raising two children who are now in college.
Later in my dental career I experienced trauma to my neck having to have vertebrae fused and making full timework as a hygienist very difficult. I decided to go back to school and earned a baccalaureate degree in nursing. I worked as a registered nurse for a couple of years as I continued to grow in myself.
With the encouragement and support of a few special people in my life, I decided to give up my nursing job and get into real estate. In December of 2016, Sheila Tom with RE/MAX Results invited me to form a team with her. I graciously accepted and she is the best mentor and team player. She happens to be the agent who assisted me in personally buying and selling five homes with in my lifetime.
I like to be the very best at what I set out to accomplish. I graduated with distinction and number one of my dental hygiene class at USD. Upon completion of my nursing degree I also ended up graduating in the number one position. I pour my heart and soul into life’s challenges. I will apply the ethics I have learned in my past professions into my real estate profession as well.
