K Team Realty Florida Homes
Born in the Western suburbs of Chicago in 1959, I grew up on a family farm where I learned work ethics and morals early in life. My Dad taught me early on, whether you're pushing a broom or the President do your best with the task at hand. My wife Dawn of 35 years and I had 4 biological children, 3 girls and one boy. Two daughters work at a law firm, one is a MD with a Phd and my son served in the Navy in Nuclear Sub's with top clearance. We empty nested for about 2 months before my wife missed children so we decided to foster children for a couple year's until I retired. God knew my retirement plans of travel and leisure and just laughed. Within the first week of fostering God placed 5 black sisters in our home who came up for adoption after being with us for 4 years. It was too late, we were in love with the girls and so now retired from 30 years at the Post Office I have a houseful of kids. (I never wanted to see Australia anyway.) To date we have fostered over 20 children in our home and are working on adopting 2 more sister siblings and one little boy. To quote an old show "8 is enough".
Obviously needing to continue working, after doing what I had to for 30 years I decided to do what I love, Real Estate. Having rehabbed our first 4 homes and doing some flipping and rentals for 30+ years I got my Real Estate license. Helping a young couple find their first home or fulfilling the retirement dream of a Winter home what a joyous time. The pleasure of handing over the keys to such an important part of peoples lives is an honor I don't take lightly.
