Dev Meyers grew up in the Burg, attending Wightman Elementary and Taylor Allderdice High School (both in Squirrel Hill). After obtaining a BA at George Washington University she came back to her roots earning an MBA at Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
Her father, George, had a lumber business in Bloomfield. Her uncle, Myron Cope, broadcasted Steeler games and invented the Terrible Towel. Her mother, Shirley, is an avid bridge player and jewelry artisan.
Dev is the proud mother of Michael Conley, a software engineer at Google in Mountain View, California.
"Growing up in the Burg was a multi-cultural experience," said Dev. "There were small ethnic communities nestled between the hills and valleys of Allegheny County."
"Today the the diversity in our area is flourishing as professionals from all over the globe are attracted to our universities, medical centers and corporations."
Dev enjoys showing homes throughout the Burg and narrating the history of the area.
