Born and raised in the heart of old Hanahan SC, Jennifer is true Charleston Native. Throughout her life she involved herself in many local activities and organizations where she had the opportunity to learn the history, culture and future for many of the beloved cities and towns in the Low Country. From the lush azaleas of Summerville to the sprawling beaches of Mount Pleasant, Jennifer truly has the area knowledge required to help meet your needs in every way. Jennifer started her career in retail and sales working first as many young people do, in food and beverage. Moving quickly from entry level positions to managing training and store openings, Jennifer began to understand the importance of clear communication to primarily understand the needs of others in order to best serve them. From there Jennifer transitioned to business sales within the telecom industry. It is here that she first began to understand that there was something bigger than a sales number, the seed was planted. Relationships Matter! Recruited from that position, Jennifer decided to take the leap into Real Estate in May of 2012. Joining a local team of at that time 7 people, Jennifer took the opportunity to absorb and learn the ins and outs of the industry. As she usually does, Jennifer quickly asserted herself as a leader within the team. Learning together, she helped establish that small team into the largest Charleston area residential real estate company, a top 100 team in the nation. Jennifer opened and planted roots as the manager of the Summerville team having up to 14 team members working underneath her. To this day she still considers this time period as the number one area of professional growth. In October of 2013 Jennifer's first son Oliver was born. In her heart the smartest, most caring full of energy little boy that God had ever created. Having her career in full swing, she started to learn the importance of balancing family life with work life. Shortly after in April of 2015 her second son Avery was welcomed. Another precious gift, perfect in every way. Jennifer continued to put all of her energy into continuing her career growth and family needs while at the same time growing increasingly uneasy as to how to balance the two. After several months of careful self examination, Jennifer came to one of the most profound conclusions that lead her to where she is today. She was doing it backwards... The pace and pressure of high volume, large team real estate did not align with her core values. What if family focus and building relationships with her clients came first? Taking the biggest leap of faith, Jennifer decided to leave the largest producing team in the area and break out on her own joining Remax Alliance as an individual agent. With two small babies to care for, Jennifer knew this could be the best or worse decision made to this point. Sticking to her values of family first and fostering personal relationships, Jennifer took that single decision and turned it into a strategy more successful than she even imagined. She considers this time period to be the number one time of personal growth. Today Jennifer continues to put her family first and builds honest relationships with all of her clients. Aligning her area knowledge, market expertise, local connections, excellent communication skills and deep rooted passion for helping people has allowed her to become one of the top single agents in the area. As a result, every client is treated as family and she ensures the best possible outcome for each individualized situation.
