Stephen “Banjo” Haroian grew up in the St. Louis metropolitan area in Edwardsville, Illinois. He moved to Laramie, Wyoming in 2006 and enrolled in the University of Wyoming. Upon receiving his B.S. in Geology with a minor in Environment and Natural Resources, Stephen moved to Jackson Hole in 2010.
He has worked throughout the Western U.S. and as far away as West Africa as an oil and gas exploration geologist and data analyst. He volunteers with the Jackson Hole Food Rescue nonprofit organization and has also volunteered as an English and mathematics teacher in New Delhi, India’s largest slum.
Stephen is an avid traveler, skier, and most of all performing musician, which is how he earned his nickname, “Banjo”.
