Before beginning his real estate career, Shayne served his country for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force. He traveled the world as a special operations flight medic for 10 years and then worked as a drill instructor before earning his real estate license and retiring in 2004. Shayne was a multimillion-dollar producer in both San Antonio and Alaska, where he specialized in helping military families buy and sell their homes. After enjoying the Highland Lakes as a weekend getaway for about eight years before his move to Alaska, Shayne and his family are thrilled to make the Llano area their permanent home.If you know Shayne, you know he can’t sit still for long. He’s very active in the community, volunteering his time and talents in several capacities, including the local Methodist church as a youth leader, the Llano, ISD Academic Booster Club, and Athletic Booster Club. He also works as a substitute teacher for the Llano elementary and high schools, and works with boys sports as an announcer for varsity baseball, and JV/ sophomore and junior high football games.Shayne and his wife, Kristie (also retired Air Force), have a daughter who attends Llano High School and is active in athletics and cheer.
