HART AND SOLD!
Staying focused on your goals when buying and selling real estate is an important part of making the right decisions. Finding someone you can work with comfortably can make this process feel easier and more rewarding. I have a passion for real estate and the heart of a teacher which is an advantage as I work through the transaction process and build an enjoyable working relationship with my clients.
I learned the nuts and bolts of the business - literally - from working closely with my dad, a real estate investor and contractor. That means I can research and present the current market data needed for good decision making and I can see beyond a home's surface to its true potential and value. As the wife of a frequently transferred executive, I have been a party to many real estate transactions on the buyer's side and seller's side. I learned from these experiences how important it is to listen to clients' needs and how advantageous it is to have an advocate in every real estate transaction. I have a "hands on" approach to managing my business and know that providing excellent customer service and attention to detail will bring repeat clients. These experiences have driven my desire to help others who want a broker who knows the client should be the center of the process.
I have been happily married for over 20 years and my husband and I have two daughters and a rescue dog. Our family has been happily settled in Hendersonville since 2004, enjoying the beautiful scenery and friendly people. In the early mornings, you will likely find me in the pool at the Y training for a US Masters Swim Meet. I have made many friends through Toastmasters International and have served as President and VP of Education of the New Dimensions Club in Hendersonville. Currently, I am serving on the Board of Directors for the Blue Ridge Literacy Council whose staff and volunteers are dedicated to transforming lives through improved literacy and English communication skills for adult learners. I also enjoy travel, the beach, and learning new things. I hold a B.A. in Education from the University of Florida. I taught several years in the public school system, then taught my own children at home while being an active leader in the homeschool community.
