Quality Never Goes out of Style!
Researching, touring, calculating, deciding, and committing are only a few of the processes to find a place you can call home. For most California home owners, purchasing a property will be the largest purchase they will make in their lifetime. Knowledge, experience, honesty, and motivation are a very small portion of what a buyer needs from an agent when purchasing a home. “I have fully devoted myself to understanding and serving others. Your complete satisfaction through my professional service leads to mutual success,” states Ken Armstrong of RE/MAX Performance.
It starts with respect, appreciation, and effective listening skills to clearly understand the needs of home buyers and sellers. Determining the best path for clients to reach their goals and dreams is imperative for Ken. “From as young as I can remember, joining the workforce was something I found to be exciting! I started with the paper route in sixth grade and continued till I graduated high school. I made a commitment and I stuck to it!”
Continuously expanding knowledge has remained a priority for Ken throughout his life. After returning from serving in the U.S. Navy, Ken obtained his first degree, an Associate of Science in Business Administration at the College of San Mateo. This was followed by obtaining his Real Estate, Insurance, and Notary Public Licenses. In 1991 at the University of San Francisco, Ken started working on a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in economics and a minor in Real Estate to obtain a Broker’s License. Ken also became a mortgage broker and worked with Mayor Mortgage in Burlingame, California.
In addition to knowledge, it also takes experience! Ken has created and owned many businesses. One of the most exciting was when he became a developer. He built many residential homes in Sonoma California as well as in Michigan, and dabbled in commercial real estate. These experiences not only allowed him to put all his knowledge to the test, but it served him well as he learned many valuable skills that require teamwork, communication, public speaking, marketing, interpersonal and organizational expertise.
“As I look back through the years of experiences and all the things that I have created, I now know all my life's work has been directed at serving my clients with their interests at heart. Whether it was putting the newspaper in the exact right place on the porch every time, or serving my country with honor, or designing and building a home just as a family requested, I have always attended to the specific needs of each and every client that I do business with,” Ken explained.
