Handling Your Real Estate Needs from Morning to Night in San Diego and SW Riverside Counties
Lela is a real estate broker who is a tiger when it comes to getting the best results for her clients. With nearly two decades of award winning sales and management experience in the highly competitive pharmaceutical industry, Lela became licensed as a real estate broker in 2003 and immediately began working full time with buyers, sellers, and investors.
Lela has lived in the San Diego area since 2001 with her husband and fellow Realtor, Steve Hall. Having moved frequently growing up and in her earlier career, Lela has experiences to share from living in Idaho, Mississippi, New Mexico, Iowa, and Los Angeles. She says her sales career started to blossom when she sold over 200 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in Brandon, Mississippi as a teenager.
Lela lived less than a mile from the epicenter of the Northridge Earthquake when it struck in 1992 and was president of her homeowners' association then. Her townhome community required over $6M in repairs. Lela credits the post-earthquake three year reconstruction experience with fine-tuning her negotiation skills and increasing her knowledge of construction, repairs, and dealing with insurance and attorneys, and teaching her patience!
Currently, Lela serves as the Chair for the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, and is Secretary for the Foundation for Senior Wellbeing, in addition to being a long time member of Toastmasters International. She has served as local president for the Women’s Council of Realtors and on the advisory board for the San Diego’s multiple listing service.
A proud graduate of Boise State in biochemistry, Lela has never stopped learning. She holds certifications as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Realtor Institute, Certified Distressed Property Expert, Certified Investor Agent Specialist, and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of fame in 2011 as a consistent top producer.
Awards and accomplishments aside, Lela says it is most important to her to take the very best care of her clients that she can. When not engaged in real estate, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two cats, time gardening, and experimenting with new recipes. Dinner Club anyone?
