My Story . . .
Growing up as a child in California, it seemed I was always around real estate, though it was not my immediate career focus. In case you didn’t know, it’s no secret -- Roberta and Dick are my parents! When I graduated high school, my parents moved to Colorado to get out of the fast-paced and expensive lifestyle of California. After deciding it would be best to pursue a degree, I moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to my family and to attend college. In 1996, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree, got married to my husband Vince, we had our first daughter (Amber Rose), and we moved to Vandenberg AFB - all in the same year! I then began working as a project’s coordinator for the University of California at Santa Barbara in the Business Administration department. It was here, that I began to develop many marketing strategies and customer-service oriented talents. We fortunately were able to move back to Colorado Springs in 1999 and this is when I truly saw my parents in need of assistance with the Real Estate business. The technology had drastically changed and it was clear that they needed help! Our second daughter, Clare Jean was born in June of 2000. I began working from home as the Marketing Specialist for the Team – which included videotaping homes, flyer design, personal promotion, web site development, client appreciation coordination, and many more tasks. By 2004, it was time for me to help in a licensed capacity, thus I studied and prepared for my Colorado Real Estate License. I passed both the national and state exams on the first attempt in the early summer of 2005. I have enjoyed the new challenges of being a licensed agent ever since!
