Jason Tilby was born and raised in the Bryan/College Station community. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2000 and pursued a degree in business first attending Blinn College. Jason wound up taking some real estate courses as part of his curriculum and was intrigued by the real estate market, having helped his father manage properties in the B/CS area in the late 1980s – early 1990s during his youth. While working full time in the food service industry and pursuing his degree, Jason was offered his first real estate job working for The Smith Team at Keller Williams Realty doing administrative work, a move that would change the trajectory of his career. Jason decided to put his degree pursuit on hold and completed his real estate licensing courses and became licensed in early 2008, taking on more responsibilities with The Smith Team transitioning to the role of part-time buyer’s agent, while continuing his restaurant management responsibilities. In 2009 along with his fiancé, Dawn Gish, Jason and Dawn opened up a full service sales, leasing, and management team at Keller Williams Realty: Team Tilby. Jason then eventually transitioned out of his role in food service to take the role of lead agent for Team Tilby. After serving in various capacities within the Keller Williams system including: Market Center Technology Coordinator, New Agent Coordinator, Agent Leadership Council (ALC), Ignite instructor, and he did some agent productivity coaching on the side, Jason decided to take a step back from the teaching/coaching side at the end of 2016. With his, now, wife Dawn, married in 2012, and their 2 children Tyson (2 years) and Taylor (8 months), Jason wanted to focus more on family and personal business growth. Starting in January 2017, Jason left Keller Williams Realty to team up with another agent from The Smith Team days, Chelsie Breaux (now a highly accomplished agent at RE/MAX Bryan-College Station), helping head up the property management division of The Legacy Team. In Jason’s downtime, he enjoys traveling with his wife (before the 2 kids), getting as much beach sand between his toes as he can, playing rec. league softball, and going to music concerts and festivals. Jason, being from the B/CS community, has always been engaged with the community in many aspects and ways. Whether it was during High School with the P.A.L.S. program, or working with Boy Scouts and the parks service through Post 1033, or being involved with Christ United Methodist Church’s UM ARMY group, Jason remains dedicated to his community throughout his life. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors for the College Station Morning Rotary club in the capacity of Service Projects Chairman, volunteers at the BV Food Bank, and was heavily involved with Keller Williams Realty's RED Day. Jason along with his family are regular parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where Jason is also a member of the Knights Of Columbus.
