Jim and his family relocated from the Chicagoland area in 2005. They settled in Champaign mainly because of the University of Illinois, but quickly learned how wonderful a place it is to raise a family. He especially loves older homes and enjoyed renovating one of his own, but is truly passionate about all houses and can help you see the potential in any home.
After serving a four-year tour in the Marine Corps, he earned an associate’s degree in Manufacturing Technology—Drafting/Design. And later completed his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He currently lives in Champaign with his wife Kim, and their three daughters. Jim and Kim have strong ties to the University—for the last ten years Jim worked for the UI Police Department in their communications room. Kim has also worked for the University that long, most recently accepting the position of Storytelling Director with the Office of Advancement.
Whether you are relocating to the area or moving across town, Jim looks forward to putting his passion for homes, and his customer service skills to work for you.
