I began my real estate career as a broker in 1992. I was able to work with others who demonstrated right priorities in their business & personal life. This shaped me as a business leader, husband & father.
In 1996, I made the change to RE/MAX because it was and still is the only brokerage that treat their brokers as business people and equips them with a professional environment filled with other next level professionals.
In 1997, I expanded my business nationally and launched one of the first internet relocation services - HomeRoute. From 2000-2008, we generated over 1000 transactions per year for our relocation partners. This business was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in America receiving the INC500 Award in 2003. I sold that part of my business in 2010. Since that time, I have coached & trained brokers, consulted entrepreneurs on business strategy, team building & technology, led turnarounds to restore profitability after some tough times in the real estate industry, including leading a firm of 100+ agents.
In 2014, I created the Nickerson Team to do two things, Make a better experience for clients through high-level care, commitment & communication and to create a true team environment that helps teach and grow the next generation of real estate leaders.
