Laurie Kaufman’s career in real estate began when she purchased her first investment property in 1999 while obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Colorado State University. Laurie was acknowledged by RE/MAX of Boulder for her 11 years of loyalty to the RE/MAX network and her clients. Laurie’s outstanding service and achievements are highly valued and appreciated by the RE/MAX team.
Laurie’s goal is to make buying or selling a home an enjoyable experience for her clients. Purchasing or selling a home can be a stressful endeavor. With Laurie’s background in counseling and 15 years of real estate knowledge, she is committed to making the real estate transaction a smooth, stress-free experience for her clients while having fun throughout the process
Laurie contributes a portion of her earnings from every sale to the Humane Society of Boulder. She has a tremendous amount of compassion for animals and believes every animal deserves adequate healthcare, and to be in a nurturing home where they can thrive.
Experience & Education:
Laurie has been a licensed Broker at RE/MAX of Boulder since 2005. Prior to joining RE/MAX of Boulder, Laurie managed a portfolio of residential properties for a local investor. She started investing in Boulder real estate in 1999. Along with focusing on residential sales, Laurie continues to manage her Boulder rental properties. Prior to real estate, Laurie earned a Master’s Degree at Colorado State University in Counseling. Laurie made the transition to Colorado from Chicago in 1995 where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Communications & Psychology from Aurora University.
Activities & Involvements:
Laurie spends her free time with her mom, sister and friends. She enjoys hiking with her 2 Labrador Retrievers, going to CU football, basketball & volleyball games, watching her nephew compete in soccer at Broomfield High, and attending cultural events at The Dairy & Buell Theatre. Laurie volunteers with Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue. After being a "Foster Failure" she ended up adopting her 6 year old foster dog Harley from the organization.
