I moved to this area as a student at SIU (GO SALUKIS!!). My first career began as a Jr. High Home Economics teacher. Several years into my teaching career I had the yearning to teach the “little guys” so I spent the last 18 of my 33 years as a 1st grade teacher. I was fortunate enough to love what I did every day.
Well, retirement wasn’t for me so my long time interest and new yearning turned into a second career in real estate. The old drive to be the best teacher has now resulted in a drive to assist others with their very important task of buying or selling a home to the best of my ability.
I am proud of my community and have had the pleasure of being on the ground floor of developing a recreational soccer league with about 300 participants and starting the current program in our local high school. Participating in the local garden club as an officer and community helper is also an activity I find very rewarding. I hope to have time to become a Master Gardener in the near future.
Fortunately, I can again say I love what I do every day! I am very eager to show you the bike trails, parks, schools, lakes, wine trails and communities our area has to offer and the homes which surround them.
If you need assistance or have questions e-mail me, Debby McKibben, at [email protected] or call me at 618-697-1310. I would be more than happy to help you with your real estate needs!
