Richard “Dick” Covey is a retired U.S. Air Force officer, former NASA astronaut and retired aerospace executive. Most recently, he served until 2010 as President and Chief Executive Officer of United Space Alliance, a $2 billion annual revenue joint venture between The Boeing Company and Lockheed Martin. It was NASA’s prime contractor for Space Shuttle and Space Station operations. Prior to joining United Space Alliance, he served as President of Boeing Service Company in Colorado Springs, Colo.
