Chris Chapman
Regional Director
RE/MAX New Zealand
Chris Chapman joined RE/MAX New Zealand as Financial Controller in April 2006 and later moved to the role of Director, Finance, for RE/MAX Australasia. He has an extensive background as a Chartered Accountant and business advisor with local and international clients from a diverse range of industries.
Named Regional Director of RE/MAX New Zealand in 2007, Chapman is responsible for overseeing the ongoing growth and development of the RE/MAX network throughout New Zealand.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in commercial law and accounting from the University of Auckland in 1997 and was admitted to the College of Chartered Accountants by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants in January 2001. He also is a licensed real estate agent.
Chapman was an auditor with Arthur Andersen from 1998 to 2001, worked as an auditor in England for the Audit Commission from 2001 to 2003 and served as a Taxation and Corporate Finance Advisor for BDO International from 2003 to 2006.
Among his interests are spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing soccer, sailing and running.
