Bruce A. Benham
Senior Vice President, Office of the Chairman

Bruce Benham is responsible for Company Owned Brokerages (RE/MAX Equity Group in Oregon, RE/MAX Northwest Realtors in Washington and RE/MAX 100 in Virginia and Maryland). He is also responsible for Facility Operations and Distribution Center & Administrative Services.
Prior to joining RE/MAX in 1992, Benham was Vice President MIS/Business Support Services for VICORP Restaurants (Village Inn Corporation) in Denver, Colorado, where he was responsible for developing a revolutionary hardware and software information system for the company and its 425 restaurants. He also served as Director of Information Systems Consulting for Coopers and Lybrand, as Manager-Data Processing Quality Assurance for CitiBank Diners Club, and as District Manager-Computer Operations at Mountain Bell.
Benham became a senior officer of RE/MAX in 1999 as Chief Technology Officer. In 2005, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer.
Benham was the first officer in charge of establishing the RE/MAX Satellite Television Network (RSN) in 1994. RSN was the first real estate satellite television system and under Benham’s guidance, a training and communications network was established for participating franchised offices and affiliates.
In August 2001, Benham received the “CIO of the Year Award” from the University of Colorado at Denver’s Center for Information Technology Innovation. In 2004, he received the RE/MAX Distinguished Service Award, the organization’s most prestigious honor. He also serves as a member and officer of the board of directors for the Denver affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Benham earned a Certified Computing Professional designation in 1997 and has participated in extensive advanced technical, managerial and leadership training programs. He earned a Bachelor of University Studies degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 1973.
He is an avid golfer, as is his wife Deb, who recently retired as a 32-year real estate professional with RE/MAX. Their two sons, Brooks, a RE/MAX agent since 1999, and Bryan, a RE/MAX agent since 2004, are both top-producing real estate professionals. The Benhams are truly a RE/MAX family.
