When my husband got a job transfer to Colorado Springs we had many concerns as to how we could sell our home easily from another city. We found Jeanette Terlau through the RE/MAX website and from the minute we started talking, she made us feel at ease. She was holding open houses, running flyers to nearby rentals, and otherwise blowing us away with her determination to get our property out there. On January 8 my hubby and I went on vacation. While we were gone a heating element went out on our furnace and that night we had below freezing temperatures. Three water valves froze and burst. The next day everything thawed and the water ran. Jeanette took care of darn near everything. By the time we got home, a restoration company had been called out, she had contacted people that could start getting us bids on repairs, got bids on carpet replacement, talked to our HOA people, had our insurance claim rep’s info, AND someone ready to repair the furnace!

I would like to compliment Diana Abdo-Sous. My home is in Fort Lauderdale, Florida – one of the worst housing markets in the U.S. to sell a house. The week that I hired Ms. Abdo-Sous, there was an article in our paper that stated it takes six months to sell a home in south Florida. After interviewing a couple of agents who were not encouraging about the sale of my home, I met with Diana. I want to take this opportunity to thank publicly Cory Rudnitski for coming to my rescue on June 25, 2010 in Mankato, Minnesota. My son and I were caught in a storm with tornado warnings and attempted to pull over to the side of the road. The soft side and heavy rains took the car into the ditch. My son and I were worried about staying in the car and falling further into the rushing water of the gully, but also afraid to leave the car to be hit by hail and lightning. Fortunately for us, Cory Rudnitski pulled over and offered to let us get into his car. Hesitant to enter a stranger’s car, I immediately took a sigh of relief when I noticed the RE/MAX lawn signs and knew that we would be safe. Cory Rudnitski stayed with us until AAA was able to get our car pulled from the ditch. He had even offered to drive us into town if the vehicle was inoperable. Cory Rudnitski was our hero that evening and came to our rescue when many other cars passed us by. Mr. Rudnitski represents humanity and RE/MAX in a most positive light.

Today is an incredible day that never would have happened without my RE/MAX agent, Angie Lotz. I am one of many impacted by today's economic climate. I had lost my job and was going to be foreclosed on with my condo as well. It is only through Angie's tenacious efforts that my condo was sold today through a short sale. Angie battled unreturned phone calls from every side ... the mortgage-holder and even me!... to keep pushing forward to get to this day. I owe her so much but at present can only repay her incredible efforts by letting the people at RE/MAX know, if there is the equivalent to an Olympic gold medal or Heisman Trophy, it should go to Angie Lotz.
