Team Leader 'Summit' Recognizes Real Estate Trend
First of its Kind Conference Supports Those Who Prefer Teamwork
(Denver, Colo., September 20, 2007) - Responding to a revolutionary change in the real estate industry, RE/MAX International is holding the first ever conference designed specifically to support brokers and agents doing business as a team.
The RE/MAX Team Leader Summit being held at The MGM Grand Hotel today and tomorrow, features presentations by RE/MAX Co-Founder and Chairman Dave Liniger, CEO Margaret Kelly and renowned industry consultant Brian Buffini, founder of Buffini and Company.
"Today, twenty seven percent of our membership are team leaders or team members. Within three to four years, we expect twice as many will be part of a team," Liniger said, "People say Teams are the future of real estate, but the fact is they’re here now, and with the challenges of a changing marketplace, this event couldn’t come at a better time. It’s a tremendous opportunity to get the very latest information on managing or starting a real estate team."
After a crowd pleasing presentation to an audience of more than a thousand, Brian Buffini said that a Team Summit has been a long time in coming, "Everybody in the industry talks about teams. Well, somebody has finally put their money where their mouth is. RE/MAX has created a world class team training program."
The two day Summit has been created to provide market-tested programs for building teams and managing teams within today’s real estate market. Speakers presented information on different team models, recruiting strategies, and management concepts. Richard Rolfingsmeyer, owner of RE/MAX Preferred Partners in Edwardsville, IL said the Summit was more than he expected, "This event has everything I need for my team. It's tremendous. I don’t have to re-invent the wheel."
