RE/MAX PRESIDENT APPOINTED AS CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK BOARD CHAIR

(Greenwood Village, Colo., October 24, 2006) - An advocate for children’s hospitals for many years, Vinnie Tracey, president of RE/MAX International has been named chair of Children’s Miracle Network a position which allows him to continue to support their efforts.

“Having Vinnie lead our Board of Governors is truly an honor,” said Jim Hall, Children’s Miracle Network president and CEO. “He sincerely cares about children’s hospitals and his leadership of the Board of Governors will be an incredible strength to the direction and mission of Children’s Miracle Network.”

Since 1983, this special alliance of 170 premier children’s hospitals in North America has raised more than $2.7 billion which has helped provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education and assists more than 17 million children annually overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

“Vinnie has a strong passion about his involvement with Children’s Miracle Network,” said Margaret Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX. “He is truly dedicated. And, he champions our efforts to support this incredible cause. Children’s Miracle Network has a special, special place in his heart, but Vinnie will be the very first one to tell you that it’s not about him, it’s not about RE/MAX, it’s not about check presentations - Children’s Miracle Network is about kids.”

Tracey’s commitment to kids is illustrated not only by his involvement with Children’s Miracle Network but also by his active participation in coaching children’s sports teams and other community activities.

Tracey played basketball for the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1977. That same year he began a career with RE/MAX as regional marketing representative for RE/MAX of Kentucky and Tennessee. His talents were quickly recognized and he moved up the ranks swiftly. In 2004 he was named president, overseeing all operations of RE/MAX International.

Tracey represents RE/MAX in various national and international industry organizations and has been a member of the Children’s Miracle Network Board of Governors for nine years.
