(Greenwood Village, Colo., January 9, 2006) - Diane Metz Kreider, who resigned her position as senior vice president of regional development at
RE/MAX International only a few months ago following the birth of her daughter has now agreed to serve as senior advisor for the
RE/MAX Heading Home program (
www.remaxheadinghome.com)
"Diane is a dynamic and insightful leader," said Chris Volgenau, vice president of
RE/MAX Heading Home. "She has that unique ability to blend common sense and business judgment, and will be a tremendous asset to our planning, expansion and overall direction."
The immediate plan is for Metz Kreider to direct communication regarding the
RE/MAX Heading Home program, expanding the value of its benefits to consumers and real estate agents inside the
RE/MAX network.
"
RE/MAX Heading Home is an excellent program for people who are currently renting but often dream of one day owning a home and have been searching for a way to get started," said Metz Kreider. "However, starting on the road to homeownership is only one piece of the puzzle. Understanding how the purchasing process works, establishing, maintaining or repairing credit worthiness, applying for mortgage pre-approval, identifying neighborhoods, determining what you can afford, and many other critical steps will have to be made. We are designing an internal education plan because is important that our
RE/MAX associates are knowledgeable about how to utilize the program as a valuable service for their buyers.. After all, the first-time home buyer could well become a client for life."
