MIKE RYAN

RE/MAX International, Inc.

Mike Ryan was instrumental in launching the
RE/MAX Satellite Network (RSN), a proprietary business satellite network. He joined
RE/MAX in 1995 with more than 10 years experience in video production. He served as Director of Operations at RSN until his promotion to Vice President in 1997. Ryan received the
RE/MAX Distinguished Service award in 2000. In January 2005 he was inducted into the
RE/MAX Legacy of Leadership, which includes the founding officers of
RE/MAX and others who have played critical roles in the network's success. Ryan was named Senior Vice President of Media and Training in August 2005 with the expanded duties of supervision of all corporate education, including Broker/Owner training.
He has produced and directed events with Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, General Electric Co. and Proctor & Gamble Co. and has provided production management for associations such as Aerospace Medical, Boy Scouts of America and the Music Educators of America. He has provided production services to a variety of well-known personalities and broadcast entities, including retired Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Larry King, Dick Clark, Marie Osmond, George Foreman, Lee Greenwood, CBS Sports and ESPN.
Ryan is a charter member of Business Television (BTV) Link, a corporate satellite user group that includes satellite television pioneers such as Ford Motor Co., American Express, GE, Anheuser-Bush and RE/MAX. He is also a member of the International Television Association, the National Association of Broadcasters and the United States Distance Learning Association.
RSN was the first proprietary satellite broadcast system in the real estate industry, and Ryan and his staff have forged numerous frontiers in education, training and communications programming. Under his direction,
RE/MAX became the first organization in real estate history to provide televised professional designation courses for the United States and Canada, plus live continuing educational programs. RSN crews broadcast and/or videotape numerous presentations and events at the annual
RE/MAX Conventions and Broker/Owner and Manager Conferences, as well as other special events throughout the year. RSN has also produced several consumer-interest videos, including lead-based paint safety and regulations, and a multi-award-winning program titled "Kids' Survival Guide To Moving." The network has won more than 50 international film and video awards.
Prior to joining
RE/MAX, Ryan was a director and production consultant at MAC Productions from 1987-1995. Previous to that, he was in the signal and communications department at CSX Transportation. He and his wife, Diane, have three daughters.
