Elton Ash is a long-term affiliate of the
RE/MAX organization serving at every level of the franchise system, starting in 1984 as a Sales Associate in Saskatoon, SK. Six years later he became the Broker/Owner of
RE/MAX Penticton Realty, Penticton, BC and joined the
RE/MAX Western Canada regional operation in 1994 as Director of Broker Services. At the region he applied his multiple skills as Management Consultant in 1998, then as Senior Management Consultant until 2000 when he was named Director of
RE/MAX Commercial Canada.
In September 2000, shortly after
RE/MAX International acquired the region which had been independently owned as part of company operated regions, Ash was promoted to Vice President and Regional Director and in August 2005 was promoted to Regional Executive Vice President.
Previous to joining
RE/MAX, Ash was a sales associate with McClocklin Real Estate Corporation in Saskatoon, SK. He also spent a number of years working the family farm in Saskatchewan involved in breeding Black Angus cattle and as a professional cattle fitter at livestock shows and auctions.
He holds a Diploma of Agriculture (Dip.Ag.) from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK and is a Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRES), Real Estate Institute of Canada, an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), National Association of Realtors, and a Registered Relocation Specialist (RRS). In addition, Ash is licensed as an Agent 9.15 (broker) British Columbia Real Estate Association and was previously a Real Estate Broker, Saskatchewan Real Estate Association.
Ash and his wife, Jayne have four daughters. His hobbies and favorite activities include downhill skiing, curling and golf.
