David M.K. Metzger

In September 2007, David Metzger was named Chief Financial Officer of RE/MAX International, when he assumed responsibility for managing the Finance Department of the RE/MAX Headquarters companies. He is currently responsible for finance and accounting, as well as, bank and investor relations, cash management, acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for domestic and international operations.
Metzger has an extensive and varied background as an attorney and a CPA, with over 20 years experience in the corporate financial arena. Prior to joining RE/MAX, Metzger was Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Counsel at two Boulder, Colorado based companies, Sciona, Inc. and Airbase Services, Inc. and at Sterling Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, Illinois and Baltimore, Maryland.
Metzger received his law degree from The University of Baltimore School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Maryland Bar Association.
Metzger is a resident of Boulder, Colorado, where he lives with his wife and four daughters.
